He has experience in both the construction and real estate industries, meaning that he can help his clients navigate their real estate purchase with consideration from all sides. When he isn’t working, Brown likes to spend as much time as possible doing things outside, working in his garden, and playing drums and guitar.

A Lifetime of Industry Experience

Brown grew up in a construction family and has been learning about the building industry since he was very young. His father, Hans, was a contractor, and Brown worked for him for much of his life before becoming a home inspector. He has hands-on experience in all aspects of the construction process, making it easy for him to answer his clients’ questions about the repair and maintenance of their prospective properties. In his later years working for his father’s company, Brown was tasked with completing punch lists, which are very similar to home inspections. Brown learned to be detail-oriented and investigative in his work, and he uses these skills today as a professional home inspector.

Hans van Aller

Northern Florida Home Inspections is also operated by Hans van Aller. Hans worked for over 50 years in the building industry after serving in the U.S. Navy on board the USS Trout SS 566. While in the construction business, he interacted with many home inspectors who he felt weren’t doing enough to bring their clients comfort, peace of mind, and information they could rely on throughout their real estate transactions.

Deciding to become a home inspector himself, he was motivated to be someone that his clients could trust to answer questions without bias or alarm. He enjoys helping his clients find confidence as they approach their own purchases, and he treats each person he gets to work for with the attention and care they deserve.

While in the construction business, he interacted with many home inspectors who he felt weren’t doing enough to bring their clients comfort, peace of mind, and information they could rely on throughout their real estate transactions.

Deciding to become a home inspector himself, he was motivated to be someone that his clients could trust to answer questions without bias or alarm. He enjoys helping his clients find confidence as they approach their own purchases, and he treats each person he gets to work for with the attention and care they deserve.
